Works with the agents you already use
Pick your harness during setup: Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor or a generic agent. Handoff gives you instructions to paste into your agent so it saves work in dated run folders. It never edits your AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md files.

Private by design
Handoff runs entirely on your Mac. The index is a local SQLite cache you can rebuild at any time. There is no server, no account and no upload. Deleting an artifact moves it to the macOS Trash and only ever touches folders you approved.
